In the third SHREK movie, everybody’s humungous green hero faces responsibilities he does not want when Princess Fiona finds out that she expecting a little Shrek and that her father, King Harold is dying. It’s up to Shrek and his loyal sidekicks, Donkey and Puss in Boots, to find an heir to the throne before the king passes on. They find him in a rather clumsy young lad named Artie Pendragon. Of course, nothing goes as planned where Shrek and friends are concerned! The dialogue between Donkey and Puss in Boots is once again hilarious. While this third Shrek installment is graphically stunning and entertaining for children it fails to come close to the great storylines of the first two Shrek films.

It’s a story about a rat named Remy who lives in Paris with his father and brother and about a thousand other rats. Remy is different from all of the other rats. Remy has a wonderful talent and a dream. He dreams about becoming a top chef. Remy also talks to and gets inspiration from the ghost of one of Paris’ legendary chefs (the great Gusteau). As fate would have it, Remy stumbles into a no-talent kitchen worker named Linguini. Together Remi and Linguini become the culinary talk of Paris until it all begins to unravel. Ratatouille has several heartwarming message for children. Pixar has struck gold with this animated children’s movie!

This wonderful animated children’s movie is only partially animated. Enchanted has a great cast, especially costars Patrick Dempsey and Amy Adams, who are enchanting together. Enchanted is just plain fun for children and adults alike. Enchanted is “Sleeping Beauty” meets “The Wizard of OZ”. It has a beautiful princess, a handsome prince, a wicked queen/stepmother/witch, cute friendly animals, poisoned fruit and a life saving kiss. Enchanted is destined to be another Disney classic.

Jerry Seinfeld is his humorous self in the Bee Movie. I kept thinking Kramer, George and Elaine were going to show up. The Bee Movie is a fun time for all.
