List of Scary Movies - How To Find Your List of Scary Movies

I love scary movies. In fact, as far as I’m concerned Hollywood doesn’t make nearly as many scary movies as they should. Over the years I have watched a lot of scary movies, most of which I discovered by going online and searching the “All Time Scariest Movie’s List” of the many movie sites on the Internet. One of the many things I've learned about film is that movies are very subjective. While your all time list of scary movies may totally creep you out, someone else’s list of horror films may be completely different. Don’t sweat it! This is completely in the realm of normal human behavior. It stems from the fact that we all give asylum to different likes and fears; therefore we're bound to be frightened of different monsters, creatures, ghosts, maniacs, goblins, insects, aliens and ghouls, etc. Do you know what movies make up your all time list of scary movies?

It is not difficult to find lists of best movies online. Whether you are searching for the best all time movies in horror, thriller, fantasy, romantic comedy, science fiction, drama or the adventure genre, you're bound to find many lists on the Internet. Try to remember that, just because you found a list of some film nut's all time scariest movies on some popular film site, and it totally contradicts your opinion doesn’t mean your opinion is wrong.

The only way to find a true all time list of scary movies is by finding the best scary films lists that people just like you would commonly recommend and then comparing them. You will find that by comparing the different lists of scary movies you will find movies that will only be on a few of the lists and movies that will be on the majority of the lists. The films that you find on only a few of the lists should be labeled as other people’s personal favorites and set aside. The films that you found on almost every list of scary movies that you correlated are the true champions. These are the films that truly make it on “The All Time List of Scary Movies.”

For those of you who are not too into scary movies, but are looking to watch a few scary films for Halloween or some other horrifying occasion, allow me offer a few scary movies that are on my “The All Time List of Scary Movies.” First off you have the disturbing 1973 hit "The Exorcist" where moviegoers were actually running out of the theaters in terror. It doesn’t matter whose list of scary movies you check out, it more than likely has “The Exorcist” in it.
