WoW Cheats
Okay fellow World of Warcraft Players, how many of you have ever used World of Warcraft cheats to try and finish the game? I’ll admit it, I’ve used them. In the face paced World of Warcraft, because of what I call social cheats or con games, newbies are almost compelled to learn all of the World of Warcraft cheats they can, as quickly as they can if they intend to compete in today’s WoW games. The kind of World of Warcraft cheats I’m talking about are the kind that make you feel helpless and somewhat violated when it’s done to you, and they probably have.
You’re a newbie and you just picked up a nice sword that you are excited about. You get to talking to some other players and brag about your new found weapon. One of the players tells you he can make your sword even more powerful by putting some enhancements on it for you. You’re an honest person, you believe others are as honest as you are, you’ve never heard of World of Warcraft cheats or con games, so you hand over your prize sword. Say goodbye to your sword forever as your new friend takes off with it. If you are laughing then you were one of the lucky ones who escaped this worst kind of World of Warcraft cheat.
Here is another World of Warcraft cheat that I’m sure you are familiar with. This is another scam frequently used on unsuspecting newbie victims. The scammers will offer the newbie a valuable item in trade for one or more of the newbies own valuable items of equal value. Just before the trade is final, the scammer will substitute a worthless look-alike item with the same icon. Before the newbie realizes he is the victim of another World of Warcraft cheat, it’s to late, the scammer is gone like the wind. This particular World of Warcraft cheat is also performed with gold as the bait. Just prior to an agreed upon trade of gold for an item or items, the scam artist will shave a zero off the the amount of gold he is trading, grabs the victims items and disappears.
Cheats are not exclusive to the World of Warcraft alone. All of the other MMORPGs and MUDs are rife with social cheaters as well. One of the most widely used social scams is, when the perpetrator of the scam tells the intended victim that he wants to examine his or her items prior to a trade. The intended victim agrees and as soon as he or she hands over their items, the scammer takes off with them. Another widely used World of Warcraft cheat is what I call the Kill/Steal cheat or K/S cheat. It’s when you have been working feverishly trying to bring a beastie to it’s demise in hopes of an abundant reward and just as you about to swing the final death dealing stroke, along comes our favorite Kill Stealer who runs up, kills the beast, steals the experience, steals the prize and laughs as he runs away.
I’m sure there are many more World of Warcraft cheats and scams played on newbies and other unsuspecting players that I have failed to mention here. The point is, this type of behavior does not belong being used anywhere in any game. Your World of Warcraft cheats suck the very fun out of the game. Your stealing, hacking and scamming is enough turn any newbie into a player who goes about the World of Warcraft, completely fearful, skeptical and suspicious of everyone he meets. Sadly, people like have helped to destroy our joy in the real world. Why do you cheaters feel the need to destroy our fantasy worlds too? Hopefully, for now on, whenever you feel the necessity to perform any of your World of Warcraft cheats, people will turn you in and you will all get banned. Until then, would you all please take a long walk off a short pier. That would be nice.
