While This is going to be a short one here for you, I'm just going to talk real quickly about Grinding For Gold in the World of Warcraft. Many players do not do this anymore because they don't think it's worth the time. The most common and basic form of gold farming in the World of Warcraft is Grinding for gold. WoW grinding for gold does get a lot of attention from all sorts of players since this is the games most basic form of gold farming. Mistakingly, most WoW players lose a lot of money because they never end up grinding out the amount of gold that they should. Because it's so simple and basic, Grinding for gold is still the premier method of farming gold in the World of Warcraft.

If you are on a lower level character or a new player playing any character other than a skinner, than you are going to want to stick to killing humanoids. Humanoids have the highest drop percentage for green's and blues (on the norm) and they also drop both cloth and coin which is a large portion of your money. Conversely, if your WoW character is at a higher level a few things you will want to target are motes as well as both twink items and vanity items.
Because it is fairly obvious on where to farm for motes and twink items I will not be going into any great detail, but vanity items raise a good question with most players. Vanity items are super easy to obtain or farm but most players are completely clueless as to their existence! Heck, many of these players may even have a few vanity items in their inventory and will not even make the money they should!

Vanity items in the World of Warcraft are those items that very simply make the characters look pretty (much like our own world). And like our own world, they simply have no other purpose at all.
These items range from clothing that makes a character look like a fisherman or a ninja, to foods or drinks that alter a character's effect!
WoW Grinding Gold - Collecting Things
Players love collecting things. This includes pets that people don't know about. For this exact reason, buying pets and reselling pets can make you a great deal of gold. In fact, because they are a rare drop, there are some pets that will sell for hundreds in gold.
Some of the items will make you a ton of gold because they are near impossible to find, but once you find their locations, gold will begin to pour in like clockwork! It could take you a very long time to gather these spots because 99% of WoW gamers don't even know that they exist. To be completely honest with you, I would have never thought of these spots if it wasn't for “Derek's Gold Mastery Guide”. The guide showed me all of these spots and he has helped me use these spots effectively.

With "WoW, The Burning Crusade", it’s very easy to farm up to 250g/hour now. The mobs drop a lot more coin, the items that drop vendor for a higher price. Besides this, you will be getting greens, blues and epics which will all be selling for the largest price ever. The average drop rates coin itself has been increased, allowing you to sell your items for a lot more gold. What does this mean for you? It means that there will be a lot more players out there with extra money to toss around.
Key Assets For WoW Grinding Gold
Some key assets when it comes to grinding for gold on the World of Warcraft effectively is knowing the correct places to farm and know how to farm them. When it comes to WoW grinding for gold and other gold farming, a lot of players make minor mistakes which causes them to fall far behind the rest of the competition.
Mistakes Players Make When Grinding Gold
When grinding for gold, one of the most major mistakes players make is downtime. What is downtime? Downtime is the amount of time during grinding gold that a player spends not killing the other mobs. This includes running to the next mob, chatting to your friends, not chain-casting your next spell (casting the spell as soon as it's available) and sitting for a drink. All of these forms of downtime will drop your gold per hour rate.

Sitting down to eat or drink is the most common downtime. Every glass has a favorable “Grinding spec” and if you plan to farm for gold for a certain amount of time, it's well worth the money to re-spec to. You are knocking anywhere between 15-30 seconds off of your killing time every time you take a seat to drink or eat. Let's say you can kill 5 mobs in a row without having to sit and drink or eat. What that means is, everytime you kill 100 mobs you are spending 10 minutes on your butt. That's a pretty large amount of time, and most classes can't even make it 5 mobs with some of the specs. For instance, my Mage was Fire Spec for a while until I realized I was only getting about 3 kills on average in before I had to take a drink. I switched to frost, which is a premiere grinding spec and it got me up to 8 kills before I sat down. I nearly cut my downtime to 2/3rd of the rate it was, making it a great rate.
Remember that downtime is a key penalty to the gold rate you pull in the next time you go out grinding gold. By choosing the right spec for your character you can easily double your gold rate over night.
